Connecting Gmail lets Orbit watch your inbox and help you stay on top of it, all from your text thread.

What it unlocks
- Urgent-email alerts: Orbit texts you within minutes when something time-sensitive arrives.
- Inbox answers: “did Jordan reply yet?”, “what’s the latest on the contract thread?”, ask in plain language.
- A richer daily brief: Orbit can flag unanswered threads from yesterday.
Connect it
Ask Orbit (“connect my Gmail”) or open Integrations in the dashboard. You’ll get a secure Google sign-in link, approve access, and you’re set.

Gmail is a personal app. It’s private to you. No teammate can read your inbox through Orbit, and you can’t read theirs. Each person connects their own.
What Orbit can and can’t do
- ✅ Read incoming mail to spot what’s urgent.
- ✅ Look up threads and messages when you ask.
- ✅ Draft a reply for you to review.
- ❌ It won’t send anything on your behalf without you asking it to.
Good to know
- You’re always in control. Disconnect Gmail anytime from the Integrations page and Orbit immediately loses access.
- Privacy first. Orbit only looks at your mail to do the job you asked for.
