Your daily brief
What it is: a short, personal rundown of your day that Orbit texts you every morning, so you start the day knowing what’s ahead.

Morning! Here’s your day:
• 9:30 Standup (30m)
• 1:00 Catchup with Jordan, you’re the organizer
• 4:00 1:1 with Taylor
Your afternoon is open after 2. Two emails from yesterday still look
unanswered. Want me to pull them up?
You don’t ask for it. It just shows up.
What it needs
- Google Calendar connected, so Orbit knows your schedule.
- A verified number, so Orbit can text you.
Connecting Gmail too makes the brief richer (it can flag unanswered threads), but it’s optional.
Good to know
- Timing follows you. The brief is sent in your local timezone. Tell Orbit where you are (“I’m in Chicago”) and it adjusts. You can also ask it to send earlier or later.
- It’s yours alone. Your brief is built from your calendar and inbox. Teammates get their own, from their own tools. Nobody sees yours.
- Change it anytime. “Send my brief at 6:30 instead” or “skip weekends,” just tell Orbit.
Not getting your brief? Make sure your number is verified and Google Calendar is connected. Those are the two things it needs.
